The Mario game that wasn't really a Mario game, but rather a fast reskin of another game, called "Doki Doki Panic", since Nintendo thought their original version of Super Mario Bros. 2 would be too hard for western audiences.
Still, as the game was quite popular, they decided to release it in Japan also, under the name "Super Mario USA".
