About Us
PopCultGang consists of Amalie Patricia, Mathias Bjørnskov & Maja "Blood Girl"; we are a toy-collecting, retro game-loving, B-movie family, who made this place to share our passion with like-minded individuals.
Amalie & Mathias are married, and spent 12 years together amassing a collection of pop culture, which, as the years have gone by, has evolved into PopCultGang; a nostalgia-universe filled with obscure bits and kitsch pieces.
Thanks to the success of a video game that Mathias worked on, called Who's Your Daddy?!, we decided to take the jump and start PopCultgang in 2023, with Maja joining the family shortly after.
We're now aiming to create the best, coolest space for nostalgics like ourselves, with something that separates itself from the influx of vintage toy stores, by not only acting as a regular store, but also a community space, a time-machine and an experience - both in our physical store and online!
Please note we are only 3 people, Amalie & Mathias + help from Maja, and we also run the physical store.
Sometimes stuff gets stolen, shipping might take longer than with bigger webshops and mistakes will be made, but we will try our very best to fulfill your wishes!

About
Amalie Patricia
Amalie is the PopCultGang founder, as this whole thing was her idea.
She started the Instagram page in 2019, uploading pictures of the couple's collection, which eventually led to them having a booth at a local sci-fi convention - and here we are, 5 years later!
Amalie has previously worked with Aarhus Festuge, so she has a lot of experience creating communities and unique events, which is also a big focus for PopCultGang.
Amalie collects Barbie, Pumba toys, Garfield, E.T, but also loves popculture-themed shampoo-bottles and mirrors.

About
Mathias Bjørnskov
Mathias is Amalie's husband, and normally works with music, sound and video production. He's the one who talks in most of the social media videos, but that's just because Amalie is more shy.
He is a composer and pianist, working mostly with video games. Noteworthy projects he's worked on, includes the video game "Who's Your Daddy?!", the band "Kabaret Sybarit" and the internet-series "Tour De Grillbar".
Besides this, Mathias produces a lot of comedy videos, including the "Chris Hart"-series for PopCultGang.
Mathias mostly collects retro games, but is also crazy about monster toys, hand-puppets and weird, ugly things.

About
Maja "Blood Girl"
Maja is the newest member of our little family, but by far also the most productive out of the three of us, thanks to their insesive drive and burning passion for all things cute, spooky and collectible!
They collect mostly Japanese stuff, horror toys and ugly plushies.
Maja is also a prominent musician and artist, under the name "Blood Girl" - you should totally go check out their amazing music!

Chris Hart
Elderly man who lives in our basement.
Records show him living there, since before the building was built, which has granted him status as "preservable" by the local government.
This has given us a lot of trouble, as we simply can't get rid of him.
He makes songs and videos without our consent, and posts them on our social media.
Also, for every purchase you make in the store, we have to pay a "hartrif", which amounts to 20% of our gross sales, that goes directly towards Chris.
He collects broken technology we throw into the basement and tomatoes.
