Killer Instinct Gold (N64)

Classic 90s fighter by Rare, that tried to steal the thunder from Mortal Kombat, by utilizing a lot of the same ideas like fatalities, rotoscoping and even similar moves.
It kinda succeeded; the title was popular, and it is objectively a really good game, but after Microsoft tried to reboot the series some ten years back, it sort of just died, which is a shame. 
If you want to experience the series at it’s peak though, look no further! This is the best version, and comes very close to matching the glory of the arcades.
