Japanese Vintage Anime Girl Showa Era Pencil Case (80s or before)

Beautiful and kitsch pencil game, featuring a random, nondescript anime girl, probably sold for cheap at a random drug store. 
These things have become quite collectible now, due to their random nature, and the fact that you can't really find them by Googling anything in particular. 
It's weird, it's kawaii and it's Japanese as f*ck - what more do you need?
