Happy To Be Me Doll (High Self-Esteem Toys Corp, 1991))

As early as 1991, someone tried to make a more realistic doll than the usual “Fashion Dolls” (we’re looking at you Barbie). Their company was even called High Self-Esteem Toys Corp. If their dolls helped any girls back then, we don’t know, but it’s fun to see now. Especially their descriptions like “She looks and moves like a real person.” and “Her clothes are easier to get off.”

Condition: Good. It has been opened in the bottom and taped back together again. The doll is still intact in great condition.
